Devil May Cry HD Collection Review

i have beaten the first three games in the Devil May Cry and here are my quick thoughts

on the three games

Devil May Cry

SPECIALS (POSITIVES)

+good graphics

+mostly fun boss battles

+mostly fun combat

+excellent and fantastic music

+fantastic level design

+decent story and characters

-controls can be bothersome at times

-that scorpion fight in chapter III took forever to get through

-feels like an relic of its times

-story isn't amazing

-voice acting can be kinda bad at times

An Get Your Mind Off Game (B+) 4/5

Devil May Cry 2

SPECIALS (POSITIVES) +decent graphics

+decent start

+an couple of decently fun moments

FAULTS (NEGATIVES)

-too goddamn easy and boring

-terrible story

-terrible characters

-poor structure and pacing

-holding your hand from beginning to end

-nothing to really learn and gain from playing

-combat is even less fun

-controls and camera are terrible

-just boring

Devil May Cry III: Dante's Awakening

SPECIALS (POSITIVES)

+highly improved graphics

+best combat of the series of the games i played sooo far

+truly where i see Dante as the great character everyone claims him to see

+his rivalry with Virgil (+Virgil)

+balanced difficulty

+not the difficulty where i got too frustrated

+incredible level design

+badass music

+excellent writing

+great story

FAULTS (NEGATIVES) can't think of any
