apparently people were wanting an sequel to the first Trolls which i thought was kinda alright and i was expecting this movie to honestly be more of the same or worse but somehowwwwwwwwwwwwwwww i actually have a lot of fun with Trolls World Tour
sure the musicial numbers are still random and constant and it can affect what the film is trying to say, the humor can be a little all over the place, the characters can be a bit annoying, to pointless, and odd (and occansionally not in a good way), a lot of stuff here can be random nonsense and some of the voice acting can be off and questionable and the world-building can be a bit too confusing, still unsure as well how i feel about the released songs for the soundtrack (mainly Don't Slack) it does have its fairshare of faults
but it does attempt to tell an compelling story and tries to actually develop his main characters with making them more unique and interesting and i say for the most part it works and it does try to have messages and not telling them in an cliched and obvious way like the last film, the world while confusing is kinda fun and interesting, i still like the songs used here, it has its fun and entertaining moments when it comes to the world, story and its character interactions, i laughed a lot at many points and even smiling and felt something which i didn't expect while watching this, the main characters voiced by Anna Kendrick and Justin Timberlake especially were better handled, more likeable and a lot more fun to watch, some of the musicial numbers were fun and catchy and was kinda jamming out to an few of them, the animation is some of the most colorful and vibrant that DreamWorks has ever done
again this film isn't perfect by any means and not one of DreamWorks's best but i actually enjoyed it wayyy more than i thought i would, not great but also better than the first one
