Survivor: Borneo Review

gonna post random posts on every season of Survivor, first up is the first season, Survivor: Borneo, now the first season of Survivor is interesting as it was the first season and this was when hidden immunity idols, advantages and fast tight gameplay were now an top priority in the show but for me at least, Borneo is still an great season and one of the show's best, sure in some areas it can feel dated and may seem boring compared to the high stakes of the most recent seasons but there was an reason why Survivor was an big hit in the first place and Borneo still succeeds at being an fantastic season, a lot of it is thanks to its excellent cast (an cast is always something that can make or break an season but it easily makes this season with people like Richard Hatch, Rudy, Sue, Colleen, Gervase, Jenna and especially Greg, every contestant here is memorable in one way or another, challenges are simple but great, having many memorable and iconic moments here, great tribal councils and even when the pagoinging was happening (where one tribe takes out another tribe completely during the merge) it was still entertaining and it makes me think of old aspects of the show that i do miss, while this season isn't exactly perfect, it sets the bar for what is to come and this season is still fun to watch and look back on and in terms of reality shows this is one of the rare instances where the first season can be an great start if you wanna get into the show :)
